ADVARIS Informationssysteme GmbH (ADVARIS) thanks you for visiting our website and for your interest in our company. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and want you to feel at ease when visiting our website. This is why ADVARIS conducts its activities in compliance with the applicable legal provisions on the protection of personal data and data security.

In our Privacy Policy, we would like to explain to you what information we at ADVARIS collect during your visit to our website and how it is used.

ACCESS DATA/SERVER LOG FILES (NON-PERSONAL DATA)

ADVARIS (and/or its web hosting provider) collects data about each time the ADVARIS website is accessed (server log files). The access data includes: Name of the accessed web page, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, whether access was successful, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider. ADVARIS uses the log file information, which is not associated to a specific person, for statistical analysis only for the purpose of operating, securing and optimizing the website. However, the controller reserves the right to check the log file information later on if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on specific indicators.

HANDLING OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, e-mail address, postal address or telephone number. But personal data also includes information about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites someone has viewed.

ADVARIS only collects, uses and discloses personal data if this is permitted by law or when users consent to the collection of data, e.g. by filling in contact forms, registration, sending e-mails, ordering products or services, inquiries or requests for material.

INTENDED PURPOSE

When contacting ADVARIS (e.g. by contact form or e-mail), the user's details will be used for the purpose of processing the inquiry, in the event that follow-up questions arise and to provide access to specific information or services. In order to maintain customer relations, it may therefore be necessary for ADVARIS to store and process personal data and make it accessible to the other companies of the ADVARIS group of companies in order to be able to respond better to requests or improve ADVARIS products and services.   • Right to rectification and delet
    Pursuant to Article 16, 17 GDPR, users have the opportunity to have their data stored with us corrected or deleted at any time. We will comply with your request without delay, although automated actions already in progress (e.g. sending newsletters) may not be stopped immediately, which may mean that users will continue to receive advertising e-mails for a limited period following deletion.

USE FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES

ADVARIS collects, processes and uses the personal data made available online only for the purposes stated, unless the collection, processing or use is for another purpose which is directly related to the original purpose for which the personal data was collected, is necessary for the preparation, negotiation and performance of a contract with you, is required due to a legal obligation or an official or court order, is necessary to substantiate or protect legal claims or to defend against legal claims, or is used to prevent misuse or other unlawful activities, e.g. deliberate attacks on ADVARIS systems to ensure data security.

COOKIES

Google Analytics

ADVARIS uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
